Conservation fish and shellfish resources : Managing Diversity
The book is in two parts. the first part deals with issues and challenges in managing fish genetic resources and makes some recommendations. Its reviews the needs and constraints, the impact of human activities, the problems posed by different aquatic species, and the present status of aquatic genetic resources management. The second part present four management studies: the atlantic calmon, cupped pysters, the common carp and chinese carps, and the nile tilapia. these are intended to provide greater detail and reference to the comparison of species management developed in the first part.
